Owing to the operation of 12 m Irizar ie buses under different climate conditions in several European cities, the experience and data obtained demonstrate the reliability and safety of this vehicle. In urban environments, with a charge of 350kWh and in standard weather conditions, 12 m Irizar ie buses can have an approximate range of 250km or 17 hours of operation. Charging time has decreased and the vehicle can be slow charged in 3 hours. There is also the option of fast charging via a pantograph. Also, there are other length variations for this model, enabling bus operators to select a suitable bus to meet demands for electric transportation.
