Along with the application of Solaris High Energy+ batteries, the Urbino 12/18 Electric can run up to 24 hours if recharging by fast charging, taking a few up to a dozen or so minutes via a pantograph, or slow charging, via a regular plug-in at depots. Also, Urbino 12/18 Electric can be customized to be running on electric axle drive or central engine. Solaris is a Poland bus manufacturer and has taken over 25% of European market share in 2019, while Urbino 12/18 Electric has been deployed in many European cities, serving as the backbone of electric bus fleets in those cities.
