The Toyota Fuel Cell System (TFCS) used by SORA has no CO2 emissions or Substances of Concern (SoC) emitted when in operation, while it also brings quiet comfort to passengers with minimal vibration. SORA can be used as emergency power sources in case of emergency, offering 235 kWh of power based on the amount of hydrogen stored. Aimed to be in service before the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020, SORA is mainly deployed in the Tokyo metropolitan area. SORA has a passenger capacity of 79.
