ZEPS has started to become an option as a clean, cost-effective, and viable alternative to fossil fuel buses. With a higher capacity 466 kWh energy storage system available, ZEPS can still be the industry’s lightest electric battery system that can extend the driving range and reduce environmental impacts. As highlighted by Complete Couch Work, a remanufactured all-electric ZEPS bus requires less maintenance, hence reducing operational costs for bus operators. Aiming to reduce the weight of the model, new light-weight composite subflooring and light-weight finish flooring, along with light-weight windows are added to ZEPS, improving the battery efficiency and the exterior.
